Bring your KNEE up first, not out like a soccer
kick.

Make sure both of your hands counter balance to
the kicking leg side. That does not mean throw both hands that way, but working together to counterbalance.

Bend your bottom knee slightly.
5.
Push your hips through the vertical plane.
6.
Kick through the target, not to the target.
7.
Return to a great stance as soon as possible in
order to be ready for your next movement, whether that be offensive or
defensive in nature.
